The small Calcara House is a vacation house located in a fishing village in Selinunte, Silicy, Italy. The concrete small house was designed in unique trapezoid shape by Modulor Progettazion and Vincenzo Zito; on a 103,2 square meters lot with two stories and one additional apartment as the third floor.

The first floor of the small house becomes the main entrance directly connected to the street. Meanwhile, the second and third floors get more privacy and intimacy for the closed off design. The small house was also designed well with the interior to enjoy the view of sea at the south and archeological ruins at the north-west.

The small house was designed with double height internal and triple height external to make it looks more spacious and gets natural ventilation. With the detailed materials and construction techniques, the small house becomes comfortable, cool in summer and warm in winter. Via
