This Camperdown House design is a great example of simple but elegant home design for those who have tight budget and limited space to build a nice living space. Carter Williamson Architects handled the project of this house within the low budget had by the client but the result is a comfortable and good-looking living space for a family at Rowley St, Sydney, Australia.

The house was built on an area surrounded by neighbors in right and left sides. However, the house construction looks quite elegant even tough it was built with cheap materials. By using the creative ideas of the architects about home design, then the house gets the elegant details of construction.

Efficient design of interior becomes a strong character of the house; such as wet room and laundry in one space, spacious hallway on the upper floor as a playing zone, and deep windowsills. The children’s bedroom was designed with slides away wall so that it can also become their play zone. Double height void was constructed above the dining area with decorative lighting as the heart of the home. via
