The concept of the Sea Ranch House designed by Turnbull Griffin Haesloop is very simple but special; exploring the beauty of the nature surrounded it. Located in a beachfront area of Pacific Ocean, the beach house was built on a land surrounded by evergreen trees and a meadow.
The beach house was designed based on the request of the client who really amazes to Japanese architecture simplicity. Then, the designer made the small beach house from wood and designed like an octagonal deck but very comfortable inside with the awesome views of meadow and the ocean.
Wide glass panels are applied to maximize the views to be enjoyed from the inside of the beach house. For the interior design, the designer applied sheetrock for the walls and cedar for the ceiling so that it creates warm atmosphere as well as minimalist style in the beach house. All of the windows are framed by wood and steeled structure. The interior design of the beach house that is mostly from wood gives much warmth and comforts while enjoying the wonderful view. via
