The Glade House is a simple but comfy traditional house in the Lake Forest, Illinois designed by Frederick Phillips and Associates. In the historic district, anyone can found kinds of traditional house including the Glade House with its typical agrarian forms, colors, and textures simplicity.

The traditional house was designed in ‘T’ plan with classic style of doors and windows in many parts of the house. The natural light comes inside through the windows; giving brighter atmosphere to the interior as well as more breezes that lowering the air conditioner using. The 1285sqf traditional house got efficient building envelope with rectangular plan and ground floor area reduction.
