This eccentric house is located in Vandans, Austria. The owner has trusted Kleboth Lindinger Partners to design a unique small home like a boat in the grazing land and look like a landmark. Then the eccentric house was designed perfectly based on the owner’s need including rooftop terrace that can protect the house from wind.

The eccentric house is designed in three storeys. All of home parts that belong to living area are centered on the ground floor; including the living room, bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, as well as bathroom. Meanwhile, the upper and lower level of the eccentric house is used as the area for the gallery, laboratory, sauna, terrace, and also porch.

Perfectly designed structures are one of the main parts of the eccentric house.  The structure is made from wood mix, steel and glass, while the solid concrete structure is applied for the building base. Firstly, the eccentric house was constructed rectangular steel border and glass. Then, it is clad with wooden slats; functioned to protect the house from weather and creating more privacy inside. Generally, the eccentric house with the wooden slats really suits the landscape of the Vorarlberg Mountains. via
