This lake house is special and looks so beautiful with the design and small artificial lake as well as the neighboring Kaoyai National Park, Nakornratchasima, Thailand. The lake house has been well designed by Openbox Company,ltd with the expanding views and providing comfortable private living space with good air circulation. Awesome view is gotten well from the lake house with land curving around the lake. It stands of the gently sloping land and get amazing lake scenery framed to be enjoyed from the living and dining area.

The design of the lake house is also made with good concern to the climate. On the east, the homeowners can enjoy the unobstructed lake view. The façade is featured by extra long overhang functioned as glass window protector from rainwater and sunlight. The overhang makes the rainwater can’t enter the lake house even the sliding panels are opened.

To avoid much humidity and rainwater flow; the single storey lake house is also featured by raised platforms. Selected solid materials are crucial to construct the weekend forest house. Timber is not much applied; only solid teak timber is chosen for more durable and preventing termites. As the lake house and surrounded by forest, small animals also live in holes and gaps made on the house structure. However, the main core has been made from brick, reinforced concrete, and plaster, so that stronger and more durable. via
