This EPIPHYTE Lab project entitled HSU House is one of the greatest architecture designs of them. With smart designing of architecture, the house is also an eco-friendly house with the passive solar principles; using daylight software in designing the house daylight and thermal. Such technology application may enable the homeowner to employ the energy efficiently, low in price, as well as ecological sensitive. Besides, the TPO roofing system, star light energy appliance, natural ventilation for cooling system, and efficient plumbing were also the parts of the perfectly calculated design.

Located in a hillside of Ithaca, New York, the architecture was designed to be a three story house where the spatial and ventilation were arranged well. The most special architecture design of the house is the mass wall that can store and absorb the solar energy, and then transfer it through the perfect design of the wall as well as the interior of the first floor. Besides, the mass wall can also animate the lights that pass through the structure and illuminating the area in the first floor. Via
