Eco-friendly House Chuckanut Residence Ridge by Prentiss Architects

Only one location, a narrow ridge at the top of the property, provide a level building surface. The tree line along the ridge is open to reveal stunning views of the San Juan Islands and Skagit Valley below. Houses are inherent in the progress of the composition space along the spine of linear room – center is formed with a series of folded roof plane that surrounds the interior space and exterior space separately to determine. The living room open to each other with large sliding doors and folding to create the necessary space and circulation to accommodate large groups of people.
After entering the house of a Japanese traditional entry- level classroom serves as a transition space where shoes and coats removed before stepping up to the wooden floor.
