The Greatness of MARU MARU Office Architecture by RSP Architects
February 18th, 2011 - Posted in Architecture, Interior DesignRSP architects designed a great work for headquarter of White Peak named MARU MARU Office; an Investment Firm of Scandinavian Real Estate in China. Positioned in CBD area of Beijing, the plan was designed based on the Japanese architecture approaches called guchi and mado guchi.
Guchi means opening; architecture design made for resource entering. Meanwhile, mado guchi means windows openings that enable the air, light and views enter the office. Yes, the MARU MARU Office was built with the total application of Japanese architecture; the mado guchi, closed room, and open room were put together by the blankness (yokahu) at the rooms’ corners firstly. Yokahu, based on eastern thought, means the wealth of thoughts and possibilities.
The MARU MARU Office successfully describes an image of modern office that is designed based on the application of traditional architecture thought of Japanese. The office is also built in beautiful color combination with the optimal lighting that creates comforts for all of the people.
