The Nuler-Cuhady residence below was an architectural work of David Coleman Architecture that was made by reconstructing a home that has been erected since 1950s. Located in Seattle, Washington, the old house was reconstructed with smart architectural design so that it becomes a good-looking, contemporary, and minimalist house.
The great architecture work can be seen clearly on the house. It was made from an old house reconstruction with a purpose to cut the budget as well as reducing the waste from the totally broken down building. The architects successfully created new and more awesome atmosphere into the house in geometric forms, stylish, clean surfaces, and favorable finishing.
The house has natural Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains views and landscape through the west façade. Meanwhile, the original street façade was still applied for the glimpse of the long and curved wall. The materials used for the house construction were ebonized oak, native cedar and fir, concrete, blackened aluminum, and unfinished plaster. Meanwhile, the house interior reflects penthouse suite combinations with special performance of curved wall. Via
