The Chuckanut Drive Residence is a beautiful building consists of main and guest house, designed by Miller Hull Partnership architects. Located in San Juan Island, Bellingham, Washington, the residence was built on a 1,400 square feet area surrounded by awesome nature of wooded cliff and facing the ocean view. Therefore, the architects should plan the residence as a comfortable and secured shelter in such drip line.
The lower level of the residence consists of entrance, kitchen, and a studio that has a vertical tower as the upper floor that consists of master bedroom and living room. The special sloping roof is made from timber that describes the 1×4 skip sheathing, plywood diaphragms, as well as the truss. The house gets much warmth from the wood fir ceiling and windows frames. Glass windows make perfect the vision to the beautiful nature view surrounds the house. Via
